James and i were both employed at Sawley Packaging Co , James and i had tea and dinner breaks together, and so as time went by, i and other personnel became aware of his condition and how he carried on. i saw James hitting his hands on sheets of plywood trying to get use in them, when assisting the wood machinist's.
James was liked and respected by his workmates,
i do believe Sawley Packaging Co did what they could for James.
I have fond memories of James Stevens, my mashiing mate.
